Characteristics
of fox terrier
With
its silhouette smart and square, Fox Terrier is a quite constructed
dog. The back runs with a slightly arched kidney, a deep chest
but narrow and right members, planted well on the ground,
are as many assets for this athlete fast and enduring. Its
head lengthened in rectangle, to the light stop, furnished
with powerful jaws, carries small ears out of V, falling down
in front of the cheeks. The round, dark and deep eyes are
full with life. Its tail is attached high and carried vertically.
Size
with the garrot: 35 to 40 cm.
Weight:
from 7 to 8 kg.
Hair:
there are two varieties of Fox. Fox Burrow with wire hair
("long", Milou), "broken" as say the English,
as hard as possible. Fox with smooth hair has a right hair
(short), dish, dense and smooth, plated with the body.
Color:
the white must be dominating, with black marks, fawn-coloured.
